life is beautiful

Accept your child for what she is and what you want her to be. Be consistent in your behavior towards the child. Criticize the deed, never the doer that is the child. Do activities together as a family. Encourage sibling harmony by not comparing them. Follow through if you make promises. Gifts can never be a substitute for your presence. Hitting teaches your child to hit others. Instill values in the child by being a role model. Joy of eating together at least one meal helps in bonding. Keep increasing freedom, as your child is not a sign of weakness. Offer suggestions but let your child take the decisions.
